Since its inception, the Arizona Concours d’Elegance has had a special charitable relationship with Make-A-Wish® Arizona, the founding chapter of the national organization that grants wishes for children facing life-threatening medical conditions.

For 2024, the Arizona Concours resumes that important connection, not only helping to raise money for this very worthy cause but getting some of the children involved in the event by awarding a specially designed trophy to their favorite car in the show.

This annual event has had a profound impact on Arizona children living with critical illnesses,” said Fran Mallace, the president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Arizona.“With an average wish costing $10,000, the generosity and support that Make-A-Wish Arizona receives from this show will help us grant wishes for children across the state.”

The Arizona Concours, being held January 21, 2024, at the Scottsdale Civic Center, is a signature event during January in Arizona, partnering with Scottsdale Arts to present this exceptional show and competition. The vehicles are carefully curated to impress anyone who appreciates the beauty of exceptional design, displayed on the grass in the luxury atmosphere of a stylish garden party.

The theme for the upcoming Arizona Concours is “The Art of Automotive Design,” featuring about 100 rare, historic and rarely seen dream cars from the US and Europe, dating back to the dawn of motoring, through the Art Deco era, and up to the coveted super sports cars of the 21st Century.

Tickets for the Arizona Concours are available online at and, and at the box office in the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.

For the four years that the Arizona Concours was held at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, Make-A-Wish Arizona was the main beneficiary of the event’s generous donors. A total of nearly $300,000 was raised during those Concours shows for Make-A-Wish.

The Make-A-Wish trophy that was awarded in 2015

One of the most popular awards given during the Arizona Concours is for the car judged best in show by a group of Make-A-Wish Kids, who review the cars shown on the lawn to pick out their favorite. The unique handmade trophy, artistically created from automobile parts into a whimsical character, is among the most highly coveted prizes of the Concours.

The Arizona Concours also benefits local artists and art programs through its partnership with Scottsdale Arts, one of Arizona’s largest arts nonprofits.

General Admission tickets for the Arizona Concours are currently priced at $85 each, increasing to $100 on January 1, 2024.

Concours Plus tickets with additional features are currently priced at $110, increasing to $125 on January 1, 2024. These allow admission to a lecture series featuring prominent automotive designers to be held on Saturday, January 20, and early “Dawn Patrol” admission to the Concours starting at 7 am.
